What is the cost of Online Ordering?
Pop Ordering is currently free as a client of Popmenu.
How does billing work with Online Ordering?
We offer Billing and Online Ordering payments through Stripe at a 2.9% processing fee + .30 cents per transaction. We've also added .50 cents to the guest's bill as a Popmenu Convenience Fee to help cover our expenses.
How often does Stripe pay me?
Stripe pays out daily, with a 2 business day delay. For example, if today is Wednesday, you'll get paid for Monday's sales. There is also a 7-day waiting period for funds if you're new to Stripe.
Does Billing work for multiple locations?
Billing is available per location for clients with multiple locations. To learn more about this process and the associated Stripe fees, visit this article in our Support Center.
Will I be able to print orders as they come in?
Yes! As we work on a printing function for orders, you can print email order confirmations as they come in.
Can I integrate Online Ordering with my restaurant's POS?
Pop Ordering is not available to integrate with POS services at this time. As we improve and enhance Online Ordering, we will consider POS integrations as more client feedback comes in.
Can I customize the automated email updates and SMS notifications on orders?
At this time, clients are not able to customize email updates or SMS notifications. As this feature develops, we recommend using in-line Announcements or adding copy to your Pop Ordering page to denote any special instructions to customers.
Do I need an iPad or mobile device to manage my orders?
No! For each order submitted by a customer, you'll receive an email notification with the order details, prompting you to head to your Popmenu account and "Accept" the order. If you have an iPad in your restaurant, you can log into your Popmenu account and leave your Online Ordering Dashboard up so that you can see the screen refresh as orders come in!
Can I be alerted when new orders come in?
Yes! When a new order comes in, you can receive an email, a text notification, and/or a push notification via the Popmenu for Owners app. If you have your MyPop dashboard open, you'll also hear a chime play.
Can I use Pop Ordering if I don't host my website with Popmenu (embed)?
No. At the moment, Pop Ordering only works with Full Site Hosting (FSH). If you're interested in moving over to FSH, please contact email@example.com.
