Updating Your Restaurant Settings
The GMB integration is pulling from Popmenu's Restaurant settings. Before integrating, make sure that your general settings are filled out before moving forward.
Click Settings > General and fill out the restaurant settings page > Save
Preparing for the Integration
You will need to be an owner or manager of your Google My Business listing in order to successfully integrate your account in the dashboard. If you are not sure who owns your account use Google's Find and Manager your Business tool and search for your restaurant's name:
Select your business. Next, Google will direct you to a page that shows you the email of the email that you account is verified under:
If you recognize this email, then that is the email you will use for the Google My Business integration.
If you do not recognize this email, click Request Access and fill out the form. Make sure that you request ownership access. Here's what to expect from Google once you request access.
Login to the dashboard and Click Google Publishing
Click Connect > Login to your Google Account > Allow
Click Link Location
Select Your Location in the drop-down > Save
Pro Tip for Multiple Locations! If you have multiple locations in your dashboard and thus multiple Google My Business listings, you will need to link each location's GMB account and follow the directions outlined above and below.
Here's what your Google My Business integration will look like one it's been integrated. Review the integration and make sure all of the information is correct including your primary category and hours.
