The Popmenu FSH platform conforms to WCAG 2.1 guidelines, the globally accepted standard for accessibility best practices, which meet or exceed ADA/Section 508 requirements (and include all previous guidelines under WCAG 2.0)
Tools from the community-driven A11Y Project are implemented into the Popmenu development process, which helps ensure new features and updates remain conformant. Popmenu features are periodically reviewed using keyboard-only browsing and screen reader software- manually testing is the best way to check accessibility, as while automated tests can assist with development, they can be prone to both false negatives and false positives.
Our accessibility policy is included in the footer of every site, with a contact email to report issues- part of WCAG is to include a clear way to reach out for assistance, and the site is still considered conformant as long as any reported problems are quickly resolved (problems due to third-party scripts, user-submitted content, software bugs, etc.)
To report a problem or to request an accommodation to access online materials, information, resources, and/or services, please contact email@example.com. In your message, please include the website address or URL and the specific problems you have encountered. You will receive a reply as soon as possible.
